Local Food Summit 2012 Planning

Attention Local Food System stakeholders in the Washtenaw County area: It is time to begin planning the 2012 Local Food Summit. Are you interested in making the summit happen? That is, are you interested in attending meetings over the next few months and committing to completing tasks vital to the summit's success? Or are you interested in simply helping shape the vision of the summit and/or volunteering the day of? Please tell us how you'd like to be involved as well as RSVP for any of the upcoming meetings below. We will begin with informational meetings Nov 15 & Nov 30 regarding what exactly is typically involved with planning the summit. We will have a visioning session sometime in early December. From there the overall planning team and subcommittees will form and continue to meet in person and conduct business online. Part of January and all of February will be committed to doing all the little things that make the summit happen.
