Library Instruction Session Request Form
The SSC Librarians are available to teach library instruction for your class. We can teach students about library materials and resources that are available to them, as well as research skills.

The SSC Digital Library expects instructors to accompany their class to each library instruction session.
We will confirm the appointment with the instructor.
Library Instruction must be requested at least TWO WEEKS in advance.
Library instruction sessions are more effective if students have a class assignment that directly relates to using library resources and have a topic in mind before they attend the session. If available, please include a copy of the assignment so we can customize the session to your students' specific needs.

If you would like to tailor a session around a particular course or assignment please allow for extra preparation and planning time with your librarians.

In addition to providing instruction sessions to classes please consider us for program orientations, small group research lessons or basic tours of the library and how to access it online.   If your class is online or off-campus don't rule us out.  We can provide a variety of assistance to your students.
