ConferenceStaff OSGeo booth Organize and sign up to staff the OSGeo booth, perhaps include the California Chapter too. This would be similar to a booth at WA-URISA or GIS In Action, have some OSGeo information, perhaps a laptop running the LiveDVD, talk with people about the open source geo-software you use on projects, ask about their projects, see which software they want to learn about.

Map gallery / cartographic display - Organize some cartographic exhibit or display. 2013 had a map wall made of ipads which was popular (http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2013/09/foss4g-map-contest/). The PNW has world class notable cartographers, perhaps recruit some as judges.

WebsiteFood/Drink/Entertainment MapLet's orient our out-of-town-folks to excellent things about PDX. Things to eat, for sure -- happy hours, wine/cider/beer/whiskey bars, best lunch spots, dinner spots, food carts... (near conf + elsewhere). Also things outside (parks, trails, river, etc), and inside (museums, attractions, pub theaters, whatever people do) and... ?
