This workbook provides an ongoing compilation of evidence on the adverse health consequences of fuel-based lighting in the developing world.

There are seven tabs.

• "Data Summary" tallies the number of source documents in each of the following four categories

• "Structure Fires" lists studies and other sources that describe specific structure fires traceable to fuel-based lighting activities

• "Burns" lists studies and other sources that describe cases of burns from ordinary lantern use or fires

• "Kerosene Explosions" lists studies or other sources that describe injuries caused by the adulteration of lighting kerosene with other fuels

• "Kerosene Injestion" lists studies or other sources that describe injuries caused by accidental ingestion of kerosene (typically by very young children)

 • "Women's Health" lists studies or other sources that describe off-grid lighting health topics that relate specifically to women's health isssues

 * "Indoor Air Quality" lists studies or other sources that describe off-grid lighting health topics related to indoor air quality. Some are field-based; others lab-based.
