The size of the bubbles represent the relative value of each golf ball.

39
Stopping Power Weight Advantage (0-100+)100
40
41
This is the advantage given to Stopping Power over Cost. A setting of 0 will weight the two equally, while a setting of 100 will use the square of the Stopping Power versus Cost.
42
43
Stopping Power = ((SPIN RATE) ^ 2) * (LAUNCH ANGLE) / 500000000
44
45
Spin Rate is squared in order to weigh it more heavily than launch angle. A ball with a higher spin rate should climb to make up for at least some of the lower launch angle. The product is then divided by 500 million to get a reasonable number to work with.
46
47
Value = ((STOPPING POWER) ^ (1 + (SP WEIGHT ADVANTAGE) / 100)) / ($/BALL)
48
49
Value is calculated as stopping power over cost, except that the stopping power is weighted by a factor specified above. This can be used to allow each person to select the importance of spin control to their game.

***There is absolutely no good science behind these calculations. Some assumptions are provided above, but no actual testing was done to calibrate this model.***
