Begin by playing Pokemon, catching all dem wild beez! Keep Pristine and Ignoble princesses, but store away Ignobles for use later.

Scoops are required to get bees from hives. Manasteel scoop / aura ring / ring of mana is useful if you have access to low tier botania.

Quaries (like the digital miner) can also get you bees, silk touch will give you hives.

Genetic Sampler, setup so bees / blank gene samples, labware are inserted and new gene samples are pulled out to a chest.

Furnace of some kind which can be setup on a level to pull unwanted gene samples from the dump chest and make them blank again.

Mutagen Producer, connect with a pipe to the Advanced Mutatron (don't bother with regular one). Setup so labware is inserted.
