2	12/13/2013	2	I have to break away from the mindset of the past. I should focus on independent component 1 and balance my time wisely so I don't rush things. I spent my time at AEOM Medical Supplies and looked at equpiment at the warehouse and through some equipment catalogs.	2
3	12/14/2013	2	I looked at and read some files about patients.While the company usually sells wheelchairs, it was interesting to see what kind of conditions the patients had. Of course, these were confidential so I was only allowed to see very few files.	4
4	12/18/2013	2	I watched the biller bill the various equipment and got an overview of the program they use as well as how they contact insurance companies, medicare, etc.	6
5	12/19/2013	3	My mentor came and I talked to him about ideas for a new topic. We bounced around from heart disease, diabetes, and some cardiovascular diseases.	9
6	1/2/2014	2	I organised files and was taught more in debt about the billing process. I found some huge books about some codes about different conditions.	11
7	1/6/2014	3	I talked to one of the technicians and about his experiences with patients	14
8	1/9/2014	2	I mainly sat and did research at the office. I was interested in how oxygen really reacts in the body.	16
9	1/13/2014	3	Mentor taught me some exams that can be used to find if there are troubles with the cardiovascular system. Pulmonary exams as well. Where to find heartbeats, how to palpate and tap the chest cavity/diaphragm to test for and find certain things	19
10	1/17/2014	2	My mentor came and I asked him to tell me how certain equipment can be used to treat heart / respiratory systems.	21
11	1/18/2014	2	Thinking back on why I had to go to intensive care, I talked to my mentor about what happened and what the diagnosis was. Pushing to a different EQ!	23
12	1/20/2014	2	My mentor talked to me about the heart and more complicated diseases. Going from conversations from pacemakers to his personal experiences with heart disease in patients.	25
13	1/22/2014	3	I went to my mentor's clinic and observed some patients. I was allowed to talk to some of them and asked some of them questions (not really too personal due to confidentiality)	28
14	2/1/2014	2	I talked to my mentor about Coronary Artery Disorder and asked him his thoughts about it. What he could teach me about it, effects, how to treat it–all that good stuff.	30
