A. Class Offerings from Other Graduate/Undergraduate Programs
56
Leader:
57
Mission: We want to facilitate law students’ ability to take some courses in other SCU Graduate or Undergraduate Programs (i.e. Business, engineering, psychology, language etc.) These courses could be done either (1) as part of our JD, (2) on a free audit basis, or (3) for additional tuition.
58
Updates:
- We've had some discussion of credits for Business school classes.
Apparently, the coursework committee is already working on this but the
Law School has some concerns. 1. They are on the semester system and we
are on the quarter system. Despite this, we could still take the
courses. 2. The financial relationship between the law school and the
undergraduate school is tenuous. They are thinking about working with
the Business school on classes or just getting cross listed classes such
as Engineering and Law or Business and Law, etc . . . The school
suggests that for some classes, students should go to San Jose City
College down the street for language and computer courses.

- Lets follow up with Kirstie for full update. discussing law students taking finance classes, language classes and/or business classes not as part of JD/MBA but a business certificate
