2/11/2013 6:19:22The class has been great, so far. I like the text so much more than last years text. Actually, the entire class is so much more simplified, and we are actually able to focus on getting the students informed, prepared, and ready to succeed. I may have spent more time in the computer lab initially. I have a few students who don't seem to be checking email regularly, or completing assignments on time. The quizzes and Bag O' skills assignments are great! My students are giving detailed responses, and enjoy the interactive assignments, watching a video, playing a game, etc.

2/11/2013 7:29:09I have enjoyed the flow of the chapters and how it seems to benefit the students (as they submit their work). One of the classes is not in to the badges and they hesitate to use them appropriately.I would like someone to come in and rally with me on the use of the badges on the first day of the new semester. Another voice stating the why/what for would be helpful.

2/11/2013 13:40:44I've enjoyed teaching the students practical skills and doing activities. I have been very satisfied with the training and handouts, etc. I have received. I've had one guest speaker and I am trying to line up more. So far it has been a little difficult to get speakers.

2/12/2013 16:36:03I like the organizational structure that is set for the curriculum this semester. It makes the course easier to manage as an instructor.A better link between D2L and FCST 1010 courses. This should be a 3-credit course. I feel the service project should be incorporated into the curriculum as a requirement. I have seen and continue to see great value for the students when completing a service project. It helps the students grow and understand themselves and their community better, which is one of the goals of FCST.
