Play Asiahttp://www.play-asia.com/?affiliate_id=100856Hong KongVery goodVarious options, none of them seem badaffiliate, quite stingy.Hands out coupons with packages for money off next spend, but with restrictions. There are special video game offers every Tuesday, also big sales around lunar new year.Very good, reliable. Will sell video games from Japan, Asia, US, Europe, and guide you as to what is region restricted. Also sells everything from little gacha figures to interesting adapters for gaming - e.g. connecting console controllers to other consoles or PC. I've never bought from an auction or 3rd party seller here, and never received any bootleg items. The search can be a bit broken - if searching for an artist, best to ignore the middle pane of search results and use the links on the right of the results.100% absolutely

CD Japanhttp://www.cdjapan.co.jp/aff/click.cgi/PytJTGW7Lok/204/A001737/JapanGoodGlorious. Everything comes wrapped in bubble wrap, then green paper, then a nice box.Affiliate, loyalty points, and you are allowed to follow your own links-Quite frequent xxxExcellent but not the cheapest. Especially good if you want a "First Pressing Limited Edition" of something. I buy my poster calendars from here every year. :)100% absolutely

Video Games Plus (VG+)http://videogamesplus.ca/CanadaExcellentGood, quickNoNothere's a bargain bucketxxxxxxExtremely fast, good prices. They also sell through Amazon UK third party sometimes, if you want someone trustworthy for your US videogame imports.100% absolutely

Anime Junglehttp://jungle-scs.co.jp/JapanExcellent, though shipping can be costlyvariableNoNoNoxxxxxI used to buy a lot of obscure otherwise-impossible-to-find out-of-print second hand CDs and DVDs from here. The reduction in price is excellent. Each item is rated for quality so you know exactly how well kept items are, and these ratings are collector quality - nothing is actually really bad. Stopped buying from here when their American member of staff left, the communication wasn't so good. I think it may have improved since.yes

YesAsiahttp://www.yesasia.com/Hong Konggoodcan be slowNoNoNoxxxxxI used to buy from here when Play-Asia were being prevented from selling Sony goods to the UK, because Sony were being weird at the time and were trying very hard not to take my money! Their transliteration is a bit weird, and delivery a bit slow, but they are another option if what you want isn't available from the others.not bad

RightStufhttp://www.rightstuf.com/rssite/main/USgoodgood, but branded so it is likely to get caught in customsthere's a "Got Anime" thing, not sure it's worth it for international customersNoAll the timexxfewfewfewxThese guys are magnificent, they own Nozomi Entertainment who are my favourite anime localisation company. I see them as my hub for the world of North American anime imports. They are also awkward for international sales - they'll ask you for a scan of your credit card on 2st sale and won't send to anything but the address that matches your billing address. good

Amazon UKhttp://tinyurl.com/phfpnd2The whole worldvariablevariableyesgives out coupons to other thingsAll the timeYou are generally safe when buying from 1st party Amazon UK. Especially good for preorder pricing on video games and manga. Imports tend to come from 3rd party sellers, and are often more expensive than directly importing from another site, but you are not likely to be stung by customs. Don't buy DS / GBA games from 3rd party sellers here, you're likely to get a bootleg.variable

Amazon JPhttp://www.amazon.co.jp/The whole worldvariablevariableI don't think it's open to internationalscan't rememberoften???Amazon JP is laid out in exactly the same way as the UK one, so it's easy to navigate. There's a button marked "In English" which translates some menus but is not complete. Copy and paste the name of whatever you're looking for in Japanese, or catalogue number. Shipping is often expensive. The best prices are usually from 3rd party sellers, but they will often refuse to deal with international customers.good

Sheffield Space Centrehttp://www.space-centre.co.uk/The Wicker, Sheffield, UKterriblen/anononoxxIf you are in Sheffield and want to go in and physically browse a huge selection of brand new manga, this is the place - but they charge about £8 - £9 per volume, and you might feel obliged to buy for having gone in. They also have lots of art books, CDs, t-shirts and memorabilia, and interesting old stock from the 1980s. And tons of English graphic novels and sci-fi stuff too, it's an all-round ultra-geeky shop, packed from floor to ceiling with cool stuff.good for browsing, bad for price

Japanese Retro Video Gameshttp://www.japaneseretrovideogames.com/JapanexcellentbudgetnonooccasionallyxxxxxxxThis is all in English, run by a fellow called Steve who is originally from England. Does what it says on the tin - Japanese retro video games. Completely trustworthy, good pricing.yes
12
Hobby Link Japanhttp://www.hlj.com/JapanvariablegoodnonooccasionallyxxxxxxxThe best place on the whole internet for buying model kits and figures :) Prices range from a few hundred yen for kits for enemies from Gundam to tens of thousands of yen for collector's dolls.yes

ebayhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/The whole worldauction site with some "buy it now" fixed pricesgenerally poor, depends on the sellernonon/aThe world's car boot sale, chock full of bootlegs, faulty electronics, and cruft. But also good for tracking down obscure and hard to find items no-one would think to bootleg, like 1970s - 1980s vinyl anime soundtracks or laserdiscs.yes, for obscure items that no-one but you are interested in

yahoo auctionshttp://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/Japanauction siteI don't knowI don't knowI don't knowI don't knowxxxxJapan's ebay. All in Japanese, no international customers. There are services that will proxy for you - Rinya, Celga and others, but they charge huge amounts of money. I use Yahoo Auctions purely for research, looking through the goods there, peering at the photos, and finding information about old and obscure items I will look for somewhere else.yes for window shopping
15
Snow Recordshttp://shop.snowrecords.com/Japanexcellent, but shipping can be highexcellentnononoxxxxxxxxA fine stock of vinyl records from Japan, each carefully described with quality ratings. They sell on ebay, but this is their main shop. Really good, if you are looking for old vinyl.yes
16
PaletWebhttp://www.paletweb.com/JapanexcellentreasonablenononoxxxxxOne of the best and most trusted sellers I could recommend on ebay. They sell old and new Japanese video games, mainstream and obscure. If you want a physical copy of a doujin game, this is the best place to go.yes
17
J-List / JBOXhttp://www.jbox.com/Japanvariesdon't knownononoxxfewxxFocussed mostly on figures, food, magazines, apparel, rather than CDs/DVDs etc. However, they also sell games and have a good stock of doujin software. When I last bought from JAST-USA, the digital order was fulfilled by J-List. It took a week. Since I have never bought any physical items from them, I don't know how their packaging is.I haven't used them enough to give a real opinion.
