4 | Riders are awarded points if they are an Australian rider and they have laid down a qualifying time and received an overall result in a legitimate event in the given Championship year. | |||||

7 | Ties will be broken at the end of the season using the previous years rankings and a 0.001 point allocation. Rules: if both riders in the tie have a ranking from the previous year the rider with the better ranking is awarded the point. If one rider has a ranking and the other does not, the rider with the ranking will receive the point. If both riders in the tie do not have a ranking the rider with the better qualification percentile over the season will receive the point. | |||||
