PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
60
The R-Line is a free bus that is open to the public that runs a loop around downtown
61
The Wolf Line is a free bus during the day that runs around NC State but not downtown (live map: http://ncsu.transloc.com/)
62
The CAT bus is a public bus that runs around Raleigh. You're required to purchase a bus pass.
63
If you have a longboard or bike, I recommend bringing it. you can easily get around downtown.
64
65
PARKING
66
Public parking decks have a green or blue P sign. There are many public parking decks downtown; some are prepay, some are pay as you leave, and some have reserved spaces.
67
Most decks do not charge on the weekends or after 5-7PM, but this may change during events like MLG Summer Championships
68
Furthermore, there is a lot of street parking downtown and on-campus; it, too, is generally free after 5-7PM (B & C lots and decks on campus free up then, too!)
69
70
Unless you have a specific reason, it is recommended to stay within these boundaries:
71
Stay west of Person St
72
Stay south of Peace St
73
74
Huge thanks to ALkatraz919 on reddit for the original list and inspiration for this slightly modified one
