6	A Enclave member who just wasn't having a good day. When out on patrol just below the cloud layer with his Wing, he was struck by lightening and fell. During the fall, his armor was broken beyond repair and he suffered a few injuries. He can still fly, but he has a few new oddities to him. He has an obsession with machines now, and a twitch in his left eye. He often mutters to himself and now whenever he exhales, he lets out a small wisp of smoke. While he is genetically and sexually a he, he looks very much like a she, to the point where if he were to barely disguise his voice and wear a dress, you would never be able to tell the difference until you got a look under his tail. When asked about the Enclave, he seems to not care about it much anymore, just saying "Those birds are caged." When Zap was a little colt above the clouds, he became absolutely facinated with weather and weather paterns, specifically rainstorms and thunderstorms. He studied them all the time as he went to class, and finally after experimenting with a few couds, he was able to figure out how to use the electricity in a cloud to power small electronics. This was nothing breakthrough of course, as they already had the idea to do thingsl ike this, but Zap was very proud of himself, and earned his cutiemark for it. He joined the enclave science department soon after his 14th birthday, though they said his skills weren't needed and asked him to join the military instead. Never one to argue with higher ups, he did so. He was never an overachiever in the military, just doing what he needed to get by without getting yelled at. Eventually the wing he was in was assigned to a small recon mission below the clouds, Zap was very interested in the surface, but never spoke of it to anyone else, so he was happy to go. As they scanned the area, Zap got a bit distracted and flew off towards an interesting landmark he had seen, unfortunately this happened to be right under a storm cloud, and he was struck by lightening. He fell from the sky, and the remainder of his wing thought they were being attacked, since they had not seen the lightening themselves, only Zap's falling body. They quickly left back up above the clouds and reported Zap KIA. Zap however, while beaten badly, was not killed. He was found by Dr. Synthesis and taken in to help get himself healed up. He remained in town, an oddity to many ponies, a little pegasus mare in town, though when called a she he quickly points out to them he is infact a he, and just looks just a tad bit mareish.
