| Adidas Adi Ease | 45$ [60$] | >Okay board feel >Tough bottom, push foot didn't eat through it | >Pretty bad flick due to awkward shape >Gum doesn't have much grip, one will likely have to adjust to these shoes if previously skating proper flicking shoes | >Aesthetically pleasing to look at, even more so when beat up after all the skating. | ***
| Adidas Busenitz Pro | $110 CDN | -Looks cool -Nice and flexible -Fairly durable (so far) -Grippy sole | -Heel is raised slightly, may be tough to get used to for landings | Cupsole, Padded tongue Suede | ****
| Adidas Busenitz Vulcanized | $69 (actually tho) | Excellent boardfeel and maneuverability. Flexible and comfortable. Really really nice shoe. | Even for a vulc, very little little cushioning for impact. Nervous about the durability but I think they'll last. Really really good shoe I think. | Vulc doe | ****
| Adidas Campus Vulc | 85€ | Great touch, you don't need to 'walk them in' they work pretty well straight from the box. Nice amount of padding, not too much, but your feet feel hella comfy. They last surprisingly well. | The price is pretty high for such a 'simple' model. After some use the shoe really loses it's 'posture' | Probably the 'simplest' and the most regular skate shoe from Adidas, I would highly recommend this shoe. Probably the best 'starting point' if you are looking to get Adidas shoes. | ****
| Adidas Campus Vulc (Skatewarehouse collab edition) | $70 I think | The suede seems to never ever rip. Laces seem like they aren't protected well, but are. I never had to change laces. Good boardfeel, as expected from a vulc. Padded more than most vulcs. They also look p good too. | >supporting Adidas that's literally it | vulc, hella good | *****
| Adidas Lucas Puig | $60 ($74) | >Amazing control over everything >Look like Adidas shoes (YMMV) | >Thin as hell (may or may not wear out too quick) >implying Adidas is true street shit | Vulc | *****
| Adidas Stan Smith | around 60 euros | Nice feel durability | the permanent issue of silicone and laces, especially if you have a new board/ fresh griptape | It is really a in-between category of vulcs and cups, you can skate any style you want with Stan Smiths (although you might want more firm shoes if you 're jumping 10-stairs or more), it's a shoe most of us owned or will own probably so don't be afraid to skate with it. I 'll give it a 4/5 | ****
| Airwalk Krush | 24€ lol | The shoes are dirt cheap and don't look that bad if you don't skate them and just wear them around. I didn't manage to damage my laces at all. That's about it. | Skated them for a month on a daily basis - sole is fucked up, especially where I pivot on my front foot when coming back from pushing and setting up for a trick. The outwards side of my front foot is FUBAR where I pull my ollies. I have to add that I put a fresh griptape on my deck when starting with these shoes and was aggressive/rough as hell. I fucked up my Globes on it too, although not that much. | Cup. Since I managed to destroy almost all of my other (more expensive!) shoes within 1-2 months, I think I'm just going to order another 2-3 pairs - they're comfortable, I can wear them around at uni without looking too DURR IMMA SKAT0R and spending 70-100€ on a quality pair doesn't really pay off if they don't last very much longer. THREE STARS FOR PRICE-PERFORMANCE RATIO. | ***
| Airwalk Snoop | 20-30€, was on sale | medium height, slight ankle protection | almost no protection at the sole, it's ultraflexible, no cushioning, feet hurt even when doing flatland ollies ripped through all three layers at ollie spot after about 40 ollies even with shoe goo ugly | do not buy unless you have to get a specific sum to get free shipping | *
| David Gravette's C1rca "The Lamb" Creature Colorway | Bought it for €64 | - Very good board feel, very soft, comfortable insole. - Looks sick - Very good grip. (FusionGrip) - Stitchless toecap, reinforced stitching at ollie area. - Thin tongue - Breaks in very fast - Pretty durable. | - Kickflip area wears down pretty fast (1-2 weeks to see the white vulc go away.) | Vulcanized outsole, suede x canvas combo upper | ****
| Emerica G-Code | $45 [like $60] | Great board feel, comfortable, pretty good padding, lightweight, puffy tongue, ok durability, look good | Loses grip pretty fast, laces rip, not very breathable | One-piece toe, suede, vulc, puffy tongue, round laces | ****
| Emerica Reynolds 3 Low | $80 | Lots of padding without losing most board feel. Very grippy sole. Very durable. | These take a week or so to break in. Board feel is slightly decreased if you're coming from thin vulcs to these. | These shoes are cupsoles that somehow manage to maintain board feel. They just feel really solid, not like standing on an inch of padding like a lot of cupsoles or like standing on nothing like a lot of vulcs. In addition, they have a "built-in sock". Basically it's two pieces of elastic within the shoe to keep it from flying off. Also, the sole is made up of two different materials. It's harder where it'll take the most abuse (toes and heels) so the sole will wear evenly (though after a few months there's still barely any noticeable wear on the soles). I hope I don't come off as too biased in this review, but these are the best shoes I've ever had. Normally I'm not the type to give shit a perfect score, but I think these deserve it. | *****
| Erik Koston 2's | 90$ | The left and right parts of the shoes lasted long while doing more simple tricks. The laces survived since day one, and they also come with a second neon green pair or whatever color you chose the Nike symbol in. Lunafoam padding also is pretty comfortable at first. | After tricks like kickflips and hardflips and other tricks where parts of the shoe other than the side are effected, the outside begins to get ruined. After only 2 months of skating in them, the lunafoam has almost lost all of it's softness, but still has a bit of impact reduction left to it. After a repeated line of tricks that I landed from high drops, bruises had formed on the side of my feet. On the inside part of the heel, it began to open up and cause the very hard (cardboard?) surface to really grind against my heel, which began increasingly annoying. | fuck you koston | ***

| etnies Men's Barge LS | 40 to 45 USD$ | really cheap compared to others (atleast on my country) nice looks great board feel resistant ollie area | the sole dissapears really fast (less than a month and a half on an almost daily use) | vulc pretty good for beginners the relation quality/price is very reasonable shitty protection of these. everytime you land primo you'll feel it as if you weren't using shoes. 3/5 for that detail | ****
| Fallen Slash | 75€ | Good feel to the board very 'Vans like', low profile, light on the padding. | As the Vans-esque feel implied, they don't last very long and you are gonna see hole in your sole eventually | The sole felt sturdy throughout the use, usually vulcs like these the sole gets super 'sloppy' after some use, but these didn't. I had a model where the colour changes the more the shoes wear out which I thought was nice gimmick. | ***
| Globe - The Odin | −100 | all good | nothing | *****
| Globe TB shoe | 40 yuros | Good grip Easypeazy kickflips when broken in slightly look cool Okay boardfeel Sole is pretty tough, will last you a month or two | Sole gets separated from the shoe easily Landing slightly off kilter hurts like fuck pretty much wrecked if you spend an afternoon doing any type of kickflip based trick | Vulc | ***
| Lakai Manchester Select | ~$50 | Light, great boardfeel, they look alright. Hella cheap. | Not much, it's p much your standard vulc shoe. However, try to get the suede version as the canvas version rips hella easy like most canvas skate shoes. Not much padding as with most vulcs, but it is still paddeed more than most (perhaps not as much as campus vulcs). | vulc. Remember to get the suede version to avoid the terrible rips that the canvas gets. | ***
| Low Cost Festival No idea what model | 23 yuros | they're shoes | bad soles retarded wobly things on the sides that are so rough your kickflips will become ollies made of some sort of polyester so your foot sweats like shit | cup | *
| Nike SB team edition | $68 | These shoes are really slim which suits my narrow feet. You can feel the board really well. What surprised me is they lasted way longer than I expected. Sole is relatively thick and long lasting. Suede is reasonably tough. Basic shoes that lasted a lot longer than I expected. | Basically no padding and a very narrow sole. Good for control but awful for hitting stair sets without destroying your feet. | Vulcanized. Nice looking shoe. Take a beating | ****
| Vulc Slight padding on the collar Generally okay, but yeah be prepared to find a replacement after a while | ***
| vans chukka low | between 46 to 60 (not too sure) | super confy nice board feel nice grip and duration of the sole decent protection | they get ripped off really fast in the ollie area | vulc, they are the ones that have lasted me longer | ****
| Vans Old Skool | $50 | board feel is great they look pretty rad grip the board well while the sole lasts | rip fast as hell sole wears down and loses grip fast thin sole so they're super uncomfortable and landing stairs hurts | theyre alright to be honest, and theres something i like about skating in them. i have a pair of AV native american lows which have a much better sole and cushioning. buy those instead or half cabs if you want the best vans shoe | ***
| vans oldsckool | 50usd | breaks in fast good grip the sole last's forever looks good can find in pretty much any skateshop good board feel | couple first days feels really heavy shoe laces rip really fast | vulc, had about 5 pairs of them in a row, best shoes i have ever skated. | *****
| Vans Pro Classics | $65 USD | Durable, look nice, feel well made with good materials like leather and suede. | Leather interior of the shoe is a little toasty, feel a little clunky and the gum rubber lost grip a little fast. | Duracap kept the toe nice for a long time. | ****
| Vans Rowley 99s | 80€ | That trademark Vans feel Slightly more padded than Vans normally | As Vans usually, they wear out somewhat fast Bad for big things since the Vulc, especially so after the soles have worn a bit. | Vulc shoe. I have somewhat small feet and I bought half size smaller shoes than usually and these felt like wearing socks, the fit was damn near perfect. The laces are kinda high up there so there is no risk of your laces breaking and the toe is seamless which prevents the shoe breaking. One of my all time favorite shoes. | ****
| Vans Stage 4 | 80€ | Amazing feel to the board, light and low profile if you are in to that. They last longer than your average Vans. | No padding whatsoever. The sole is pretty thin so they don't really absorb shock from big jumps. | Vans 'Wafflecup' technology, supposedly takes the feel of vulc and the durability of cupsoles. Seems like advertising bullshit, but they actually did feel more durable than your average Vans shoes. | ****
| Vans Stage 4 Low | 85€ | Amazing touch to the board, way more durable than your average Vans | Thin sole so not good for bigger shit No padding if you see that as a Con | The best Vans shoe around, If you like the Vans feel but are all bummed out because they aren't that durable, thank your lord and meet Stage 4 low. I would have preferred slight padding and maybe tad higher shoe, but those are very minor flaws. | *****
| Vans: Authentics | $40-$45 | Fucking dank Just the right amount of grip for all styles of skating Boardfeel is awesome. They dont have a vans logo on them They look classy before you destroy them They go good with high waters for maximum respect | They get destroyed instantly There is absolutely no protection at all Blisters (sizing issue) It really hurts when you hit your feet You'll look like a hipster | Vulcanized Classic Vans Waffle Shit | ****
| Admiral non-specific models | 29e-30e (don't know) | I think they are cheap shoes. For their price you definitely buy a good shoe. | I bought two pairs within a 6 month (tops) period which I held together like a captain holds their ship during a storm; silicone, bottoms from other shoes etc. Laces is a problem too | For their price I think Admiral shoes are durable shoes and they are very skateable, so if you happen to bump on Admiral pairs think about it, especially if you find them on sales. They make SB's and even if they are out of SB's ask to see their other models and you may find a good skateboard shoe. | ***
| adidas busnitez 2 | 100 dollas | good board feel, thin sole | breaks fast, narrow(would not recommend for wide feet) | ***

| Fallen Mission shoes | Got on sale £25 (£35 ish) | Clean black look, really comfortable sole to start out with that absorbs shock great. Lots of grip and padding. | After owning for a few months the sole started to split on the side, used a glue gun to seal it shut and is still working for me. | Vulc, comes with laces on and another set of laces in the box. | *****

| Duane Peters Broadway Hightops | $30 | Durable, comfortable and stylish for a low price | The insole separated from the shoe pretty quickly. | ****
| Nike janoskis | 50$-60$ | Great grip, it usually comes with leather laces so therefore the laces last way longer than expected. Come in sweet designs sometimes and all blacks make awesome dress shoes. The gum is amazing, great slide and barley tears. | If you have wide feet they are very uncomfortable, it's a slim shoe. A bunch of faggots who don't skate wear janoskis and make the whole scene look bad. Not enough padding at the bottom so some impacts may hurt more than others. | Vulcanized leather shoes | ****

| eS Square Two Fusion | $65 | Lots of cushioning on the sole. The show is also very flexible and breathable. The low top lets your ankle move in any which way. | No ankle support. The shoe also gets its laces ripped easily. | Vulcanized, Low top | *****
| Lakai Manchester Slim | $65 [$30] | Slimmer than the previous iteration of the Manchester. The shoe is also a bit looser to size which makes the shoe very breathable. | The shoe is stiff and takes a while to break in. Also since Lakai wants to keep the slim look, the shoe won't last long through intense skating. | Vulc, Suede, Low-top | ****

| Nike SB Check Solarsoft | Around 60 USD (I paid a lot more in Canadabux) | >Real comfy after break-in period >Insole is soft and thicc >Nice fuccin flicc >Seems durable (suede model) >Kinda stylish for off the board wear >Might be the best minimal vulc shoe you can get | >Break in time is short, but if you have wide feet it would be extremely painful >Corporate :^) >Overpriced in Canada >Doesn't come with extra laces | Essentially this is a Reynolds 3 but with an insole that's a million times better. Worth a cop if you want a vulc shoe but still want to jump down shit. | ****
| Converse KA One | $50 to $100 | Best shoe I've had. Balanced between boardfeel and cushion. Durable, as well. The shoe lasts well too. | Incredibly hard to find these days, with newer editions available. | Cup | *****
| Etnies lo cut (the newer ones) | £30 (£55) | Classic design. Great boardfeel but thick enough to not get destroyed immediately, comfortable and very grippy. Maybe the best shoe I've ever skated. | The insole is pretty shit | This updated Lo-Cut has been slimmed down into a modernized cupsole. It features an EVA midsole for cushioning with a grippy outsole tread pattern. The one piece toe cap provides excellent board flick and has been stylized with the “T” toe stitch detail. The Lo-Cut is a perfect combination of style, heritage and performance. | *****
| HUF Dylan Slip-on | $80 | Dress shoe styling. Compliments everywhere because they're so rare from bitches and dudes too. Wear them to the office or your aunt's shitty casual wedding. Comfy as fuck. | Suede is a bitch to clean if you give a fuck. Do not skate in the suede ones (obviously). Leather ones in your size are hard to come by. Potential to slip out if they don't fit just right. | ****
| Airspeed Men's Legend V | Typical Wal-Mart yellow sticker price | × Cheap (inb4 Walmart) × Minimalist × Durable, wear-and-tear resistant to the point of a year's use merely makes them look a month old × Great cushion and easy maintenance | ÷ Not a popular name-brand ÷ ^ Not Converse or Vans ^ ÷ Design is somewhat generic, like 90's core | Every shoe comes in two selections: Cup or Vulc. Obviously mine were Vulc, may have to size doen since they can be a bit wide. | ****
| Vans Ultrarange Pro | $159 AUD | suede is VERY durable the soles are surprisingly comfortable for big stair sets they are quite a snug fit for good board feel | laces and upper parts of the shoe tore very quickly complete rip-off | would be quite worth it at a reasonable price range - this model feel more like lakai or eS shoes than vans | ***
| Etnies Marana Vulc | £45 | Literally no break in time, were perfect to skate out f the box. Comfy af tho. | Toe cap is a total meme, I've had shoes without it that lasted longer. | ***
| Vans Slip-On Pros | $59.99 | Solid shoe, feels great, light, easy to put on, good cushion for skating | Only for skating, dont walk a lot or run in these shoes, to close to the ground | Suede Leather | *****
| Emerica Westgate Mid Vulc | Can't rememmber, around £40 | super comfy, tongue is attached to the sole of the shoe making it fit real snug, good grip, ankle protection is great | sole wears down super fast (like 2 weeks) the vulc sole also started to come away from the suede around that time too | ***
| Vans Old Skool Pro | I bought it at a skateshop and they didn't have price tags so I don't remember exact price. I'm assuming whatever the usual price is. | Very comfortable when you first get them. Durable enough for the mediocre skating I do. If laces do rip they come with an extra pair. Right foot shoe has held up well to Impossibles, no complies and pressure flips. All around good shoes for skateboarding and just walking around. | Once the stock insole is broken in though they become very loose feeling making me have to constantly tighten them. The edges separate from the sole after just little rough use needing to be reglued or simply ignored (this is the first pair of Old Skools I've had this happened to though). The laces have frayed from Caspers but haven't ripped completely. Left foot shoe sticks to griptape too easily when new when trying to flick (probably a me problem) Would not recommend if you skate every single day. | Vulc, size 11s, dark green and white. | ****

| Vans Sk8 His | 60ish USD | look cool, mainstream for coolguys, decent to skate in I guess | Don't skate for too long in these, pinky toe pain will become unbearable. Don't wear these with ankle high socks either, leather inside the shoe will make you sweat like a white man in the jungle | ***
| Vans half cab pro | 90 eurobucks (NL) | Feel pretty comfy Supposed to last longer skating then regular half cabs. Bigger sole Big lip that doesn't slip. ULTRACUSH hd™ DURACAP® Came with extra pair of laces | Only seen them in basic colours Easily mistaken for inferior regular half cab© Made by amphetamine induced death infant from north korea. Doesn't know if it wants to be a low or high shoe. | It's black, comes with the usual waffle and Jew pentagram bottom. It's a 5/5 shoe for me but I can't give it more then one star of david for supporting the jew. | *

| German Army Trainers (The sportsman guide surplus ones) | 25.99 on sale [35.99 off sale] | Comfy feel, probably the most durable shoes I've had in years. Cheap, good feel for skating and overall nice beaters too. | SURPLUS, could get a shitty pair. Shoe laces are kinda eh so you should replace them. | ****
| Emerica Wino G6 x Indy | 45 eurobucks at 50% off | - tough as fucking nails, honestly the suede feels indestructible - great boardfeel - run true to size | - pretty heavy and take a bit to break in, so there's some getting used to - run a smidge wide - very little comfort and next to no cushioning, they feel a bit like dress shoes | vulc | ****
| Nike SB Blazer Chukka XD | 44.50 Brouzoufs (95 Retail) | Toecap is durable, same with the suede, "herringbone" sole (seen on most SB's) holds up well after some use. Stayed fairly stiff after a couple sessions | Toecap feels odd upon first uses, needs to be broken in for proper flick | Vulc, you're best of waiting for sales cause Nike's in general can run up high | ****
| Adidas Suciu ADV II | 45 eurobucks at 50% off | very durable flip area, well built overall, pretty legit insole, they hold the foot well and they look smooth as fuck | the insole, while good for both protection (THICC heel) and boardfeel (thin on the rest of it), is all rubber and it has a textured surface that I found pretty abrasive for my feet, especially on the heel. you may need to put in another thin insole that feels better. | the shoe gives a good balance between control and comfort, so it's like having a vulc shoe without fucking your feet up. also, very stiff out of the box which you may or may not like. | ****
| Lakai x Nico Cherry Blossom | 59.98 [70.00] | Looks nice, leather upper | Laces I guess, im used to slipons | They're all on clearance, kek | ***** |
