3/5/2012 20:25:41PolandAs there is no other initiatives here in Latvia and I represent only one NGO whitch deals with straw bale building education and information.Latvia5 years ago I started to buld my strawbale house and in this time there was big interest in my project as I have my web site and did little PR about this bulding techic, as I am inloved with it. Then I was in fiew workshops abroad and started to make them my self here in Latvia. Now i have managed to register NGO and have some partners helping me. We hope to improve our activities this year. And it is open and tranperent if I understand it correctly.Aleksandrs

in 2006 asbn – austrian straw bale network, was registered officially as a non-profit organisation and takes part in several european projects.
the board consists of three people (herbert gruber, helmuth santler, kurt leidenfrost), asbn has about 250 members, as can be seen on www.baubiologie.at. decicions are made by the board, which is elected every 4 years. as in this case. we cooperate with all important organisations like GrAT, ecoplus, energieinstitut, baubiologieinstitut (ibo), ...		austriaasbn - austrian strawbale network

I went to last ESBG representing portugal with my working studio TerraPalha.
I took the chance to vote as I had the oportunity to met representants for Serbia and Poland ans see their projects.
Until 15th March it´s not possible to organize a election about ESBG 2013 in Portugal, so if you consider to be valid here is my vote. 		PortugalNoCatarina Pinto

There are a group of people who has built their own SB homes. Also some interested persons. We created google mailing list for SB people (there are less than 20 people). We all know each other, me + maybe 2 more people are reading the international mailing list letters. I've been the secretary of Strobouw Nederland since 2004, visited 3 ESBG / ISBBC and am the most active dutch architect in this field.

As part of the poll I included a series of questions in this regard, and there were a high interest of starting such organization, however based on a low amount of participants....
