7 | With this spreadsheet, you can calculate your character's DPS for a large variety of different skill, build and equipment combinations. You can set up more than one skill but DPS can only be calculated for one of those skills at any given time. Switching out gear or passive nodes to test different build combinations is also not directly supported, i.e. you need to clear the respective values and put in new ones. DPS calculations are very accurate in general but also see the Known Issues section below. The sheets use some values that are not directly related to DPS like mana regeneration, maximum mana, the Clarity aura etc. Those are values for calculating the uptime of skills. 22 | This is where you set up your skills. Choose a skill gem together with level and quality and up to five support gems. For skill gems, support gems and auras, if you don't enter a level of at least 1, the slot will be ignored in DPS calculation. The sheet DOES NOT check for invalid skill combinations! 25 | This is the heart of this spreadsheet. Here you can actually see the resulting DPS values. For attack skills, enter your weapon stats in the top area. Use the final base stats of the weapon, i.e. with included local modifiers. As a rule of thumb, those are the values above the first dividing line in the weapon's tooltip. When no physical damage is entered for a weapon, it is not used. You need to enter your chance to hit from your character tab! Unfortunately, we don't know exact evasion ratings for enemies, so we can't calculate the chance to hit reliably from the accuracy rating. Therefore, the accuracy rating can be ignored for DPS calculations. For spells, you don't need to enter any weapon stats. Finally, choose one of your configured skills and you'll see the resulting DPS for your current chance to hit, that chance + 1, 95% and 100% with Resolute Technique. Also, below you see the skill stats as should be displayed in your character panel. | ||||||||||||||||||||

35 | The final damage values at the bottom of the DPS sheet are sometimes off by one. I guess the game does some additional rounding somewhere which I haven't figured out yet. This will obviously lead to a deviating DPS value, but in practice that difference should be very small. | ||||||||||||||||||||
36 | Even when the damage values are correct, the DPS can sometimes be off by 0.1. This also applies to Attack Speed, Crit Chance etc. I hope someone knows where I have the rounding error! | ||||||||||||||||||||
37 | I don't account for things like Ground Slam Dual Wield yet. The game shows wrong values, so this sheet does the same. There's no point in trying to correct the game when you can't actually test this | ||||||||||||||||||||
