2/12/20143Made phone calls (again). Composed and sent out letters to families of the students in the program reminding them of an upcoming event. Then I took them to the post office.

2/20/20141.5I wasn't able to go in for too long today (I had calculus), but I helped one of the staff members answer some emails.

2/26/20144Made calls again (Uncommon Good has a good policy of meeting with the students in the program pretty often. Since most of these students are young and "irresponsible," several different ways of communication are used when a meeting is coming up), sent letters, and sent emails.

3/15/20144.5It was a pretty busy day. Made calls (as usual) but more than usual because recently more students joined the program. Afterwards, I helped the guys from the farm program uderstand some instrucions left by one of the office employees (the farm program guys speak very little english). Then, I cross referenced the contact info of a bunch of new students (new to the program) and input it all into a spreadsheet. Finally stopped by the post office on my way home.

3/19/20143Umcommon Good's farm program made it possible for us to qualify for a garden (will talk about this later) in our yard. I helped set up the rows and stuff.

4/2/20144Today, apart from doing the usual office stuff, I was able to go out onto the grouds and water the plants. It may sound like an easy task, but the area that needs watering is big, and it took forever.

4/3/20141.5The only thing I did today was organize some supplies, and prepare a few letters and take them to the post office. Couldn't do too much because I had calculus today.
