3 | Using the Template and Setting Up the Spreadsheet for Individual Students: 1) From the Template, click on the File menu, and then select "Make a copy"; this will open a pop-up. Rename the file and click "OK". The file is now shared in your Drive. 2) On the Parameters tab (bottom of screen), enter IEP dates in column B. In columns C-L, enter baseline and goal percentages for each goal to be monitored. Leave any unused columns blank. 3) On the Data tab, enter a goal description for each goal in row 1. ** Set-Up is now complete. Entering Progress Monitoring Data (on the Data Tab): 1) Do not enter anything in the "Date" or "G# Aimline" columns; these columns will self-populate from the Parameters tab. 2) When entering data (in the "G# %" columns), be sure to use the correct row that corresponds with the date on which the data was collected. Leave rows for dates where no data was collected blank. 3) To enter a phase-change line and note, type the description/note in the corresponding column ("G# Phaseline Note" columns) and row for the date on which the change was implemented. 4) Data will automatically graph on the corresponding tabs (Goal 1, Goal 2, etc.). 5) If you wish to change the title of each graph, click on the current title (Goal 1, Goal 2, etc.) and enter a new title in the pop-up box and then press Enter on the keyboard. Downloading Graphs to Use Graphs in IEPs: 1) On the graph tab that you wish to download, click on the "Save as image" button above and to the right of the graph; this will initiate the download process. 2) Locate the downloaded image on your computer. 3) Upload the image to E-Star in the desired IEP location. NOTE: This template is set up to graph up to 10 goals for the length of one IEP (one year); if a student has more than 10 goals, create a second file for that student using the steps above to graph the additional goals. At each IEP, a new spreadsheet/graph should be started for the student with the new IEP dates and goals. | |||||||
