100 +East Kill cut a new bed just to the west of the first bridge on Colgate Rd AKA county route 78. All people east of the bridge are unable to cross the creek. There is a second location further east where a smaller creek also tore through the road.noon 8/30/11: Update: I just spoke with a contact at AHRC, NYC. All of the
campers and fine. They have a generator that has been running the
entire time. They are fully staffed, but have been unable to get to
town. That National Guard has told them that they hope to have a one
lane version of a "bridge" over the creek by the end of the day. 10am 8/30/11, from Mike Fagan: Please see the Jewett update section on your webpage. The
national guard is on the scene, and in the process of assisting the
folks who live on the road, as well as the mentally disabled campers at
