We’re creating a crowd-sourced film and need your help!

We’re reaching out to you – people from the countries most impacted by COVID-19 – to document yourself and be witnessed, as a symbol of our humanity, during this challenging time. Our short film will feature a montage of human portraits, showing the breadth of perspectives as COVID-19 and social distancing ripples across the world.

  • WEAR BLACKPlease wear black (or dark) clothing. Solid colors and no brand names or logos, please.

  • CLEAN SPACEPlease tidy your room / space before filming. This will make it look better in the film :)

  • NATURAL LIGHTPlease film during the day so it’s not too dark in your film. Sunrise and sunset is OK.

  • FILM VERTICALLYPlease be sure to use your smartphone and film vertically. The steadier, the better.

  • LONG TAKESFilm longer than you think, it’s ok to have awkward pauses. This helps us in the edit.

  • NEUTRAL EXPRESSIONTone wise this is meant to feel authentic and raw.

You are invited to document yourself and be apart of our crowd-sourced film. Please follow all the instructions and complete all of the shots. Submissions are due Sunday, March 29.
