Thank you for your interest in Coe College cheerleading!

During during the season the squad meets for weekly practices, group workouts, service learning opportunities, fundraising, cheer bonding activities and football games.

The cheerleaders at Coe are students of high integrity, great sportsmanship, who truly represent the spirit of Kohawk Nation. They bleed crimson and gold, know the meaning of “Kohawk," love Charlie above all other birds and provide an exciting atmosphere on Saturday afternoons during the fall. Trading the football team a push-up for each point they score, Coe cheerleaders quickly silence any onlooker who may question the validity of cheerleading.

Kohawk Nation

Coe College is a member of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC), one of the most active and competitive conferences in NCAA Division III. The Kohawks are looking forward to another season, facing Iowa Conference rivals Buena Vista, Central, Dubuque, Loras, Luther, Nebraska Wesleyan, Simpson, and Wartburg. Coe College boasts an extremely competitive football program, who consistently ranks among the best in NCAA Division III. This season, the Clark Field on the Coe College campus will host five home football games, including Homecoming Weekend on October 8th, 2016.
