WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 10 - 14, 2018

TASK 1 - Obtain this mapping aquaculture handouts from your instructor: Mapping Aquaculture. Past them in your notebook on the next open page. Using the notes you just took, indicate on each map with the color pencils, if applicable, for the major historical aquaculture and fish areas from Friday’s lecture on the History of Aquaculture.

TASK 2 - Using your map, pick any 1 country but each must be on a different continent, color them on the map and find out how much fish their people eat. Next, color the US and find out how much fish we eat. A simple Google Search will help you find this information.

Please write down what country you chose on the instructor’s master page.

TASK 1 - The instructor will project a map of the world on the board. As a class, will will discover aquaculture areas of the world and note the consumption data for citizens of various countries. Where are the markets? Who buys fish products? Transcribe this image onto your map in your notebook.
