Part 1: Genesis

All Dragon Eggs have no elemental type until they are developed in Habitats, and the type of Habitat influences the elemental type the baby Dragon will acquire. I.e. Baby Dragons have a high chance of acquiring the Fire element if incubated in Fire habitats, but they might acquire other elements due to a small percentage of RNG.

In the beginning, Dragon Eggs need to be placed in Habitats in order to hatch.

Players staking their Dragon Eggs in Habitats will receive additional $EDE rewards.

8 of 36

Habitats are required for hatching Dragon Eggs and breeding Dragons

Stake Dragon Eggs in Habitats to hatch and earn $EDE rewards

Dragons prefer habitats of their native element

Habitats are found all over the realms

Different habitats affect how dragons level up, gain skills and evolve

Each Habitat can only house 5 dragons

Habitats can be improved by crafting upgrades, which costs $EDD, the in-game currency

Habitats can be challenged and attacked by other players, winner of the battle acquires the habitat

CHAKRA

AGILITY

The amount of damage your dragon can take before incapacitation

Increases critical strike chance and last stand turns

Increases ability damage

Mana to use abilities. If chakra reaches zero, Dragons can only use basic attacks on their next turn

Determines turn order and priorities, the higher the speed of a Dragon, the higher its priority in battle order. Dragons with higher Agility stats will always attack first unless affected by certain debuffs or conditions. Also determines how often a Dragon takes Critical Hits from the enemy. The higher the Agility of a Dragon, the lesser the chances of dealing critical hits from enemy attacks .

The base stats of each element are different from each other, making some element types better attackers, defenders or utility/support

Dragon Base Stats

Dragon Rarity

Dragon Rarity

Every Dragon has a rarity level, with Transcendence tier being the rarest.

Rarity affects the base stats of Dragons and the power of their abilities. Common tier grants no bonus base stats and abilities’ power. Starting from Rare tier, bonus base stats and abilities’ powers are granted, with each subsequent tier being higher than the previous.

After hatching, a rarity level, with the exception of Legendary and Transcendence tier, is randomly generated and assigned to the baby Dragon, the rarer it is, the less likely it is to spawn.

Upgrade your dragon’s level to the max then breed with dragons of the same tier to advance to Legendary and Transcendence tiers. (see “breeding” section)

12 of 36

Part 2: Levelling Up

Dragons can level up with XP, max their level to evolve into the next tier

Dragons’ max level depends on their tier, this ranges from lvl. 50 for common to lvl. 250 for Transcendence

Dragons acquire 2 attribute points every level to choose increase their base stats and 1 ability point to unlock abilities in their elemental tree (see abilities section)

Attribute points and ability points allows players

options to experiment with different dragon builds

13 of 36

Part 3: Evolution

Evolving dragons awakens their innermost power and permanently changes their appearance, their base stats greatly increases and they get special abilities

Dragons can evolve a maximum of two tiers (Common can evolve up to Epic). To reach Legendary, players must breed dragons with at least Rare tier.

Max Level, $DVO and $EDE are required for evolution.

Even after reaching the maximum cap of the tier, there is only a 50% chance for the dragon to actually evolve to the higher tier.

14 of 36

Part 4: Breeding

Parents

OffSpring

EDE Cost

Breeding requires 2 dragons of the same tier

Dragons who have evolved two levels can only reach the next level by breeding offspring

Even then there may be a chance for a same tiered offspring or even downgraded offspring

Each dragon can be used for breeding a set amount of times

For every breeding instance, 1 $DVO and a certain amount of 2nd in-game currency ($EDE - Elder Dragon Elixir) will be required depending rarity of the dragons

Darkness

There are a total of 9 elements in the game - 6 of which are basic elements and 3 of which are bloodline elements

There is a 50% chance of passing down the class of a parent Dragon to its offspring. For example, if a Fire Dragon and Earth Dragon breeds, the offspring has a 50% chance of being Fire or Earth. If both parents are of the same class, the chance of passing down the class is 100%.

Bloodline elements are rare to breed and are more powerful (their base stats and abilities are higher than those of basic elements)

Only Dragons of 4/6 and 5/6 breed count are allowed to produce bloodline offsprings, and even then there is only a 25% chance of success

16 of 36

Part 5:

Transcendence

Awakened

Ultimate

Transcendence is the ultimate level that your dragon can reach, it can only be reached through evolution

There are 2 stages of evolution:

Only Transcendence Awakened Dragons are eligible to evolve to Ultimate

When evolving to Awakened, there is a 40% chance of unlocking Transcendence

This makes it very difficult and

requires a lot of luck for obtaining

both Transcendence rarity and

Ultimate evolution

$DVO

Evolve and Breed Dragons

Dragons can be EVOLVED by $DVO - a potent plasma only found in the isle of champions

$DVO is in high demand across the realms - it is required to breed and evolve dragons

$DVO can be earned by playing in PvP battle arenas (fast earning) or staking in habitats (slow earning)

20 of 36

In-Game Currency

($EDE -Elder Dragon Elixir)

Can only be earned through PvE and PvP

Used to breed and evolve dragons as well as crafting upgrades

You can also buy it from other players or sell it to other players

Works hand-in-hand with XP, breeding and evolving requires XP which can only be acquired by playing PvE and PvP, helps prevent pay-to-win players from dominating the game

21 of 36

Part 4: Adventure (PVE)

Difficulty Level

Abilities

Abilities

Dragon abilities have three main functions: offensive, defensive, and applying buffs/debuffs

In addition to active abilities, all Dragons have a passive ability corresponding to their element, making some elemental types stronger attackers, defenders or utility/support roles

Each element has their unique elemental skill “tree” which requires skill points to unlock

At level 50, Dragons unlock their ultimate ability in their kit, it costs a high amount of chakra and can only be used once in battle

28 of 36

Breed/Evolution

As breeding and evolving increases the power of dragons, it directly increases the NFTs’ rarity and value on the market

Breeding and evolving costs governance tokens, in-game currency, and XP, which motivates players to grind more to upgrade their dragons

Maxing out your dragons will take a long time due to the combination of breeding, leveling up, and evolution mechanics as well as RNG for bloodline pick

Constant gameplay and grinding stimulates trade volume for $DVO and $EDE

Players can hold rare NFTs or sell/trade in the market for profit

29 of 36

Habitat Farming

A great way to earn passive income is to farm tokens and rewards from habitats by staking $DVO

One strategy is to occupy as many habitats to increase your passive income

The option to attack other players’ habitats puts a cap on abusing habitat mechanics, incentivizes players to strengthen their Dragon roster to better defend their habitat

30 of 36

PVP Conquest

Rank Divisions

Aside from staking in habitats, the only way to earn $DVO is by winning PvP battles

Battle games encourage players to acquire the strongest combination in order to win more battles

Ranking system and leaderboards further incentivizes players, not only in monetary value but also in competitive spirit, the competitiveness of the game may pave way to METAs, giving solid foundation and structure for players to follow

31 of 36

Competitive Tournament (eSports)

Due to the infinite skill-based combinations and competitive reward incentives, the game could become a good fit for competitive play and eSports

Having an eSports platform like League of Legends or CS:GO is a critical aspect for future growth, players become very engaged when there is money and glory on the line

Levelling up

Breeding and Evolution

Infinite Combinations: The three distinctive features of Dragon Evo is the levelling up, breeding and evolution.

Attribute points and skill points allow for plenty of skill combinations. Tanky Dragons can go all-in in HP and Agility, assassin Dragons can go all-in on Strength and Luck, spellcasters can go all-in on Chakra to spam abilities, and hybrid builds keep balance of all stats, there is no “perfect” build as there are so many possibilities

Core Mechanics

Battle Gameplay

In addition to limitless build paths, there are also numerous options in using abilities, choosing your attack order and the time to use certain abilities. The Dragons’ ultimate can make or break the outcome of the battle

Chakras also influence the decision making of casting abilities, there are several strategies to optimize it

The most distinctive feature is the countering of the elemental types, the META won’t be broken or overpowered, as players have the option to breed hard counters to combinations with high win rates, giving them the power to balance out the game
