Pathway Design

In Pathway Design, students will be able to:

  • Revise and continue to work toward a postsecondary goal
  • Review and revise projected coursework for a selected pathway
  • Identify postsecondary programs for selected career interest(s) and research programs of study
  • Explore scholarship, internship, and externship opportunities
  • Understand how service learning and volunteering opportunities may apply to a postsecondary goal

  1. Add to and flesh out the framework of their own personal digital portfolio

The digital portfolio will include updated goals, resume, information about the FAFSA and COF, and a timeline from 10th grade through graduation

Be able to articulate how coursework at Vista Ridge aligns with future goals, as well as discuss personal goals and the steps the student will take to achieve them.

Work added to the portfolio may include: volunteering hours, intern/externships, updated personal information.

Pathway Design will help students to work toward future goals as well as understand the importance of reflection and revision.
