Educator Speaking Notes:�Today we are going to be creating a project to share about an issue that we care about. We will start by choosing or drawing a character, and create a short story or animation that will express the idea we want to share. We will look at a few different examples of projects people have made. Then we will have time to create our own animations. At the end of our time, we will come together to share what we have done so far.

The second section “Create” is where learners will work on their own projects - individually or in groups based on your choosing.

Invite learners to find a partner. Share each others’ project.

To conclude the workshop, invite learners to talk what they have been creating. This can be done by gathering learners and inviting them to show their project to the class - holding their project up like a picture book. ��It is important to mention that projects might not be done and that is OK. The “share” moment is a time for learners to reflect on what they have been working on and see what others have been creating, too. ��The questions on this slide are suggestions educators can ask to help learners reflect on their process in project creation as well as the Explorer Mindsets such as communication skills and sense of empowerment. Learners can be invited to pick from these sentence starters as they share and reflect about their project.
