Brooklyn Anthony

Executive Coordinator

Brooklyn Anthony is a proud graduate of Trinity Christian School, Class of 2018, and is honored to return to serve the school that helped shape her. After high school, she attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, where she also gained valuable professional experience. She served as the Associate Director for the Network Enrollment team, helping grow and align the university’s partner schools across the country with Southeastern’s mission and culture.��Now back in the area, Brooklyn is excited to contribute to the continued growth and impact of Trinity. She brings a heart for excellence and a deep commitment to supporting the leadership team in a place that holds great personal meaning.��Favorite verse: Exodus 14:14 — “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” This verse reminds her to rest in the stillness with the Lord, where true strength is found.

Kala Arrington holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina and began her nursing career in an adult ICU setting. In 2016, she and her family relocated to Newnan, Georgia, following her husband’s job opportunity with Delta Airlines.

Originally from South Carolina, Kala and her husband, Brandon, have two children, Connor and Lyla Kate. Their family has been part of the TCS community since 2019.

One of Kala’s favorite Bible verses is Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” ��She is excited to step into a full-time role as High School Nurse and looks forward to caring for and supporting the students and staff at Trinity Christian School.

Aimee Gumerson

Algebra 1, Honors Geometry Teacher

Aimee Gumerson brings 26 years of experience in education, having served in both middle and high school settings across Fayette County. Her teaching background spans math, language arts, reading, and social studies. Since 2009, she has also served as an assistant principal, though her heart has always remained close to the classroom. Aimee is the proud mother of Cole, a former TCS student and current college sophomore, and the loving owner of a rescued Shih Tzu named Pogo. She is passionate about living out Philippians 4:8–9, which reminds believers to focus their thoughts on what is true, noble, and praiseworthy. While she valued her administrative role, Aimee is excited to return to the classroom, where she can directly impact students by making math both understandable and enjoyable. She feels blessed to be joining the Trinity family.

Ashley Moore

Administrative Assistant

Ashley Moore brings a background in office administration and a heart for service to her role at Trinity. She spent several cherished years at home with her daughters during their early childhood and now feels blessed to step back into the workforce within a Christ-centered environment. Ashley and her husband, Matt, have been married for 16 years and are proud parents to Macie (8th grade) and Madelyn (5th grade). Since relocating from Locust Grove to Senoia in 2019, the Moore family has enjoyed becoming part of the local community. Ashley finds joy in cheering on her daughters in their sports and watching them grow into the young women God created them to be. She is excited to join the TCS family and walk alongside her girls as they grow in their love for the Lord.��Favorite verse: John 10:28 — “And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hands.”

Madison Mount

Spanish I Teacher

Madison Mount studied Spanish in both California and Georgia and graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, along with a K–12 certification in Spanish. Originally from California, Madison is the second of eight siblings and has called Georgia home since 2020.��She is recently married to her husband, Caleb, a videographer and editor for Harbinger Marketing. Since moving to the area, Trinity Christian School has been highly recommended to her, and she is thrilled to join a team that places Christ at the very center of all it does.��Favorite verse: All of Psalm 139

Daniel Plunkett

Physics Teacher

Daniel Plunkett joins Trinity Christian School as the new high school Physics teacher, bringing five years of experience in education. He has taught a range of math and science courses at both the middle and high school levels. A Georgia native, Daniel has spent his life in and around the Atlanta area and studied at Georgia Tech.��This summer, Daniel married his wife, TaJuanna and now lives in Fayetteville with her and his stepdaughter, Baley.

He is passionate about helping students understand God’s creation through the lens of physics. Daniel’s favorite Bible verse is 2Corinthians 10:5 and he is extremely excited to be part of the Trinity family.

Russ Powell

Physical Education / Health Teacher

With six years of experience in education, Coach Russ Powell brings a well-rounded perspective to his first year as a Physical Education teacher at Trinity. Prior to stepping into the PE classroom, he served in a variety of impactful roles including English Teacher, Graduation Coach, Career Coach, and Assistant Athletic Director. These diverse experiences have shaped his strong understanding of student development—academically, socially, and athletically.��Coach Russ is passionate about promoting lifelong fitness, character, and teamwork. He is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging environment where students can grow physically and personally.��Originally from Newnan, Georgia, he lives with his wife, Nicole, and their 3-year-old son, Cannon. His favorite Bible verse is Luke 22:42 — “Not my will, but yours be done.”

Ashley Roth

10th & 11th Grade English Literature & Composition Teacher

Mrs. Ashley Roth graduated from Georgia State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English (education concentration). She previously taught middle school ELA and, more recently, worked as a substitute teacher for Trinity. She now resides in Sharpsburg with her husband, Trey, and their four children Emmy, Maddox, Jett, and Denver. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” is Mrs. Roth’s favorite hymn, which is why she also loves Lamentations 3:22–23:��“The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”��Entering into her family’s fifth year at Trinity, Mrs. Roth is thrilled to serve as a teacher and sees this role as a wonderful opportunity to give back to the amazing TCS community.

Katherine Roth

Visual Arts I, Honors Studio Art, AP Studio Art Teacher

Katherine Roth joins Trinity Christian School with a passion for inspiring creativity through visual arts. Originally from Indiana, she studied Art Education at Taylor University. In 2024, she moved to Georgia and married her husband, Alex. Katherine is thrilled to step into her role as the High School Art Teacher and looks forward to cultivating both artistic skill and spiritual growth in her students. A verse that has guided her from a young age is Matthew 5:16 — “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.”

Bo Smith

Algebra I / Geometry Teacher

Bo Smith, originally from Melbourne, FL. moved to GA four years ago. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and brings valuable classroom experience from her time as a paraprofessional at McIntosh High School. There, she supported students in Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry, laying a strong foundation for her transition into a full-time teaching role.��She is deeply devoted to her family and maintains a close bond with her mother, father, and younger brother. Bo’s favorite Bible verse is Habakkuk 3:19: "The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places." This verse powerfully expresses her confidence in God’s sustaining presence and His ability to lift us above life’s challenges.��Bo is thrilled to begin her role at Trinity Christian School and looks forward to inspiring students, growing in her calling as an educator, and being part of a Christ-centered learning community.

Joanie Weller

Precalculus, AP Precalculus Teacher

Joanie Weller brings over 30 years of teaching experience to Trinity, with a career that began in DeKalb County and continued in Coweta County. After retiring in 2018 to care for her husband, she spent 11 years working with students at Huntington Learning Center. Her favorite subject to teach is Precalculus, and she’s thrilled to be returning to the classroom this year. ��She is widowed and the proud mother of two adult children, both of whom are married and thriving. Her son serves as a hospice chaplain in Georgia, while her daughter lives in Northern Ireland and works with mentally challenged adults.��Joanie finds comfort and peace in Psalm 46:10 — “Be still and know I am God.” She is excited to blend her love for teaching with her faith in this new season at Trinity Christian School.
