The purpose of Honors level courses it to offer rigorous, challenging and highly engaging curriculum to better prepare students for their future

The purpose of the AP program is to offer college-level course. Administered by the College Board, the AP program includes both courses as well as a testing program that colleges and universities may utilize to grant credit to students who have performed well on AP examinations.

World Language - When to take it?
World Language is NOT required for graduation but 2 credits are required to meet minimum admission requirements for UNC system.
High Schools will give priority to upperclassmen for first credit of World Languages.
If a student earned HS credit in MS, they will be able to take the second or third credit in 9th grade.
If they have not, they will more than likely start in 10th
