Internal Job Postings are for positions like summer employment, in-house postings and extracurricular type positions that are available only to PPSD employees.
Creating your Account

Complete the required fields. When done successfully you will receive an email from “no reply” to verify your account. Once you click to verify you will be routed back to the main page where you will sign in with your account information.
When you are in your personal account your email will appear in the upper corner of the page
By clicking on the drop down arrow next to your email address you will access your account features. Here you can see the positions you have applied for, access your platform communications through the “inbox” and create and view your profile.
Your first option after clicking on “profile” will be to upload your resume. In doing so the system will be able to autofill many of the required fields in your profile. The system looks for keywords when pulling the data from your resume so be sure to proofread everything for accuracy. If you would prefer to enter the information on your own, click on “skip this step.”
Review the information extracted from your resume or you can enter and edit your information by clicking on edit. Move through the different prompts entering or proof reading your information.
As you start to edit and populate your information you will notice that some questions are required and others are not. The required questions are denoted by the red asterisk next to the question.
Some other areas will appear to be completely blank like this. You will click on the plus sign (+) to enter your information.
LOOKING FOR POSITIONS
Clicking on the “Providence Schools Careers” from any page you are in will bring you back to the job postings. It is essentially your home button.
You can search for substitute positions by typing in a keyword to search (e.g., “substitute teacher”)
When you find a position of interest to you, click on the red text to read the job description
When you click on the title the job description will slide in from the right of the screen. From here you can review the specifics of the position and if interested you can apply to the position.
When you are finished looking at the job description you can click anywhere on the left side of the screen. The open job description will slide away from view and you will be able to continue looking for positions.
APPLYING FOR POSITIONS
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
IMPORTANT: You MUST upload your resume and cover letter for EACH position you are applying to.
When you find a position you are interested in you are ready to apply. Click on the apply button from the individual job description.
If you set up your profile in advance, all of the information you entered will be accessible when you go to apply for the position, however you MUST upload your resume, cover letter and any relevant materials you would like to provide for EACH position applied to. This provides you the opportunity to customize your cover letter to the school or position if you so choose.

YOUR APPLICATION DASHBOARD
Your applications view will show you all positions you have submitted applications for and will also show you any incomplete entries. To review the job description prior to any interviews you can click on the red position title and you can access the job description.
