Departing Thoughts

Shepherds were considered outcasts of society. It is “shocking” that God chose to announce to them the arrival of the Messiah!

Read about the Annunciation to the shepherds in Luke 2:1-20.

What do you think the shepherds thought and felt the night of Jesus’ birth? What would it have been like to see and hear the angels? What do you think they always remembered about visiting the Newborn Baby Jesus?

Read Luke 2:1-20
