What kinds of shapes do you think can be made into rectangles? If you can turn shapes into rectangles can you find its area?

Record what you do on the computer on your paper by:

• Drawing lines to show cuts you made
• Drawing the rectangle made out of the cut pieces
• Finding the area of the shape
