Setting up Edpuzzle

Before you can start enhancing your videos, you’ll want to:

  1. Create a teacher account. Sign up for free at edpuzzle.com (see video explanation)�
  2. Add videos. There are three methods:�
  3. Default: Upload videos you’ve already recorded.

  • For Chrome Users: Record directly in your browser using Edpuzzle’s Chrome extension. (see video explanation).

  • For supplemental content: Import existing videos from YouTube and other channels (see video explanation).

Once your videos are loaded, you’re ready to start enhancing!

Creating a class in Edpuzzle

Create classes to easily assign videos (see video explanation)

  • CLASSIC classes:

✓ Students create accounts to access class content

✓ Teachers track student progress and access Gradebook analytics

✓ Great for consistency and data tracking

  • OPEN classes:

✓ Students view and complete assignments without an Ediuzzle accounts

✓ Teachers see progress by assignment, but not individual student data

✓ Great for station activities and easier for early learners

Adjust video length with Cut

Select video to begin editing & enhancing:�

  • Use Cut to trim the video�
  • Keep video length between 6-9 minutes; shorter for younger learners

  • Adjust sliders to points in the video timeline
    • Use Cut, Undo, and Reset to fine tune video length

  • Multiple-choice questions give quick feedback
