How to Create an Office 365 Account
You’ll need this to use with the new version of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Start Here:
Put in your school email address: first_last@nobl.k12.in.us
Click the Sign In button
Get Started…
Enter your school email address.
Select I’m a Teacher
Fill out the form.
You may need to put a capital letter in your password.
You should get a verification code in your email to put in this form.
SKIP sending invitations.
Toggle through the brief slides...
You should see that you now have apps. You still download from the kiosk for your Mac, but you can access these from the browser in the future if needed.
Download Word (or PowerPoint or Excel) from the Noblesville Kiosk located in your dock
Then after it installs - open it. You should get this screen to the left.
Click on “Get Started.”
You may be required to set up your Office Authentication.
Since you have already created your Office 365 account, use that same information to now login when clicking on the “Sign in” link on this Get Started screen.
Put in your school email address.
Put in the password you just used to create your account.
You will see that you have a certain number of days to setup your Office Authentication
Choose:
“Work or school account.”
NOT
“Personal Account”
You should be ready to go now. If your application is still prompting you to activate, please click the activate button and sign-in with your Office 365 account.
