NUCLUES = MALL MANAGER

• The boss of the cell
• Stores DNA, the genetic instructions for everything in our body

• The manager controls everything that goes on in the mall

CELL MEMBRANE = THE DOORS

• Entrance and Exit for the cell. Selectively lets things on (food) and out (waste) of the cell

• The doors controls what goes in and what goes out

CYTOSKELETON

CELL WALL = WALLS & SUPPORT BEAMS

• The cytoskeleton and cell wall (only found in plant cells) provide structural support and shape for the cell

• The woods and metal beams of the building, and the walls of the mall

CYTOPLASM = SECURITY GUARDS

• The cytoplasm is a jelly-like fluid made mostly of water and takes up most of the cell's volume

• The security guards makes sure everything and everyone is in place

ENDOPLASMIC

RETICULUM (E.R) = FOOD COURT

• The E.R is an organelle with many folds in it's structure. The rough E.R serves as the site of protein production and has many ribosomes on it

• A restaurant makes and packages food
• A place where people can get protein

RIBOSOMES = FOOD @ FOOD COURT

• The ribosomes is the main "worker" of the cell, making proteins

• The foods we eat at the food courts contain proteins

GOLGI APPARATUS = SALE PAPERS

• The job of the Golgi Apparatus is to customize and make the final inspections on a protein and get it ready to ship out for use

• Transports messages throughout the mall

LYSOSOME = THE SHOPPERS

• Lysosomes contain digestive enzymes to clean up the cell and get rid of waste

• The shoppers buy clothes and food in the mall and take them home

VACUOLE = WATER FOUNTAINS

• The vacuole is the storage area for the cell

• Water fountains store water for shoppers to drink from

MITOCHONDRIA = FOOD COURT

• Mitochondria powers the cell by breaking down and getting energy from food molecules

• Food court is where people can go to get energy by breaking down the food in there bodies
