César E. Chávez Leadership Institute

The César E. Chávez Leadership Institute is a summer residential program at Arizona State University that focuses on college readiness, leadership and high- energy engagement. Our summer program is open to students entering their junior or senior year in Fall 2025. Chosen students will participate in workshops, career exploration, and activities designed to explore areas of study. Foster leadership development and encourage community engagement all within a collaborative and supportive peer environment.

What to Expect During Camp

CCLI camp is designed to provide educational consciousness of César E. Chávez community leadership and civic engagement. Camp topics include, but are not limited to, sense of belonging, servant leadership, financial literacy, enhancing family generational wealth, mental mindfulness, community engagement, and career exploration.

Engage in a civic engagement project and create plans for your own community!

Connect with other students through La Familia groups and with the larger ASU community.

  • If accepted into the program, there will be an orientation to cover what to bring, the agenda for camp, and other important details.
