During the tournament…

  • Arrive early so you don’t feel rushed. Know where you are launching.
  • Know your launch order and flight information including time of return
  • No passing the boats who launch before you. They get the spot!
  • Know speed limit and follow all no wake zone areas.
  • Don’t infringe on another boat that was at a spot first.
  • Monitor your fish closely. Keeping your fish healthy is vital.
  • No fish unter 12 inches allowed. Dead fish ¼ penalty
  • Be prepared! Stick to your plan but be flexible.
  • Life vest must be on when big motor is running-no exceptions
  • Students run the trolling motor except for emergencies
  • Student must net all fish. Boat Captains should only touch fish or rods if its an emergency.

  • Follow all rules. Someone is always watching!
  • Encourage each other. There will be challenges
  • Be sure you are back at weigh-in before your designated time.
  • Be patient at weigh-in. We will have people helping direct. Listen!
