Common shared requirements across all 10 campuses

Common shared requirements fully transfer across all 10 campuses

Common shared requirements meet all Gen Ed requirements

Focuses on competencies, skills, and general knowledge

Incorporates sustainability and Hawaiian place of learning

Establishes a System-wide General Education Committee

Shared requirements total no more than 31 credits

Shared requirements shall not require prerequisites (except for developmental, ESOL, etc)

• Could impact some course curricula or exclude some courses

Special graduation requirements at 4-year campuses only

• Potential loss of HAP, WI at 2-year campuses
