Appendix - Theory in Practice

 

 

Sarah really gets on her classmates' nerves. She always reminds Ms. Perry to give the class homework, and she always tells on her classmates when they misbehave. Elizabeth and Jack decide they have had enough.

They decide to set up a YouTube channel called 'SarahSucks' using a picture of Sarah as a profile image which they take one day secretly using Jack's phone. On the profile they write "I am ugly and everyone at school hates me...I'm a real loser".�They secretly film Sarah in class one day when they pull her chair out from under her and she falls, hurting her arm, they upload the video to YouTube.

Pretending to be Sarah, they leave offensive comments on people's channels that make fun of people with disabilities.

Elizabeth also copies a picture of Sarah's dog from her profile and uploads a YouTube video called 'Sarah's ugly dog'

Sarah's friend Gemma discovers what has happened and tries to figure out what to do.
