Importance of Videos

Since we did not have live Zoom instruction

  • We knew students were going to miss in person instruction and this added a personal touch.
  • Able to see and hear their instructors.
  • Reading through materials is also good, but we wanted to have a combination to address all learners.
  • Included materials presented in videos for those who would rather read through.

Student Voices

“The summer bridge program has helped me transition from Redlands adult school to college. I found many programs , services and resources at crafton and San Bernardino valley college . The professors gave me the motivation and confidence I needed to keep going forward. I got a chance to virtually tour and learn about many things Universities have to offer. I found guidance in looking for my college major and learned about different careers choices . It was a fun and exciting learning experience.”

“Summer Bridge program has helped me feel confident enough to plan ahead and gave me the assurance of being able to change course if things do not work out. Before the program, I had very little self esteem and now I feel confident and comfortable to take on my future education.”

“The program has helped me get my strength and confidence back, end to get in better learning new skills, summer bridge program have been a very important part of moving forward with my life.”

“The Summer Bridge Program has helped me to grow and it has helped me to believe things I never thought possible. The Summer Bridge Program is a really great program and I feel like it has been the best decision I have made so far.”

“...I am a recent high school graduate. I just enrolled into my first semester of college to get my degree in Business Administration.”

“I first would like to thank you the staff without you it would have been almost impossible to have accomplished the process of this great program. I've learned more about myself and the ability that I have when I put all my focus on something that I want to accomplish. I have also learned that asking for help is a good thing not a sign of weakness. I feel truly blessed. Thank you.”
