Making an Appointment With Your Counselor

  • In front office you will find a computer towards the right, you fill out the Google form to request an appointment or request to see us on the HMBHS website.
  • If it’s been more than 2 days and you haven’t received a call-slip, please email your counselor.

Current Classes

  • Make sure you attend your classes everyday
  • You need to have a D- or higher to pass your current classes
  • If you’re “A-G” (4-year eligible) you need a C- or higher in all your classes
  • Check your GPA at the end of every quarter

Attendance

  • Excused absence
    • Sick, medical appointment, dental appointment, optometric appointment
    • Personal reasons which cannot be avoided
    • Parents must clear attendance by calling the school
  • Unexcused absence
    • Skipping class, vacation trips during school, car/traffic problems
  • Consequences for absences
    • 1, 2, and 3 absences parents are notified. Detention.
    • More than 3 absences = Truancy
