Uniform Policy and Dress Code

TOPS

  • Current spirit shirts (purchased through the school store or in the front office).
  • Navy, red, or white polo style shirts (dry fit or cotton) may be worn daily.
  • Club and team shirts for this school year may only be worn on Fridays.

BOTTOMS

  • Navy or khaki pants or shorts in uniform style. No corduroy. No jean-type material even if the color is correct.

TOPS

  • White sailor or Peter Pan collared shirts ( navy or red piping is allowed).
  • Solid navy and solid red uniform polo-style dresses and navy and khaki jumpers are also permitted.
  • Club and team shirts for this school year may only be worn on Fridays.

BOTTOMS

  • Navy or khaki uniform-style pants, shorts, skirts, capris, jumpers, or skorts ( (at least fingertip length). No corduroy. No jean-type material even if the color is correct.
  • Plaid #37 in School Apparel Styles in skirt (134) or jumper (194) may also be worn.
  • Plaid #37 in Elderwear Styles in skirt (3951) or jumper(1951) may also be worn.

MONOGRAMS

Monograms are allowed on school uniform shirts and jackets. They must be no larger than 3 inches tall and placed in the pocket area only. For red and navy shirts/jackets, monograms must be white. For white shirts/jackets, they must be red or navy. Only first names, last names, or initials are permitted.

BACKPACKS​

Rolling backpacks are not allowed.

BELTS

Belts must be appropriately sized, non-distracting, and worn daily with bottoms that have belt loops.

SHOES

No open toed shoes, no open back shoes, no gaming shoes, no croc type shoes, no boots, or high heels are allowed. Your child must have appropriate shoes for P.E.

SOCKS/LEGGINGS

Socks should be solid in color and red, white, blue, gray, or black. Girls may wear leggings under skirts, skorts, dresses, or jumpers. Leggings should be solid red, white, or navy only…no patterned leggings.

HAIR

No distracting hairstyles (mohawks or faux-hawks) are allowed. No hair colors (pink, blue, green, purple, etc…) other than natural tones are allowed.

JEWELRY/MAKEUP/ ACCESSORIES

Large or flashy jewelry is not permitted. Earrings and nails should not violate rules of safety. No make-up is allowed. Gloves of any kind are not allowed to be worn in the morning. No headbands with ears or bobbers on them.

UNDERSHIRTS

T-shirts worn under uniform shirts and visible at the neckline must​ be solid white, navy, or red with no writing.

JACKETS

Uniform jackets and sweatshirts sold by the school are permitted. All other jackets, sweatshirts, and sweaters must be solid navy, red, white, gray, or black and in a plain, uniform style. No hoodies (defined as any pullover with a hood) are allowed. Hoods on zip-up or button-up jackets may only be worn during outdoor recess or activities. Denim jackets are not permitted. Please label all jackets with your child’s name.
