In 1954, the United Nations decided to have a special day for children. It was called Universal Children's Day.

It’s celebrated on November 20th every year.

In 2011, Children's Day became public holiday. In 2012, they changed the rules. If April 4th falls on Tomb Sweeping Day, the day off is on April 3rd. If April 4th is on Thursday, the day off is on Friday.
