Collaboration Activity. To address COVID-19, states are working with the federal government as well as local governments within the states. In this activity, you’ll piece together real-life coronavirus response activities taken from actual state coronavirus response plans.

On the next slide, you will see 20 boxes that each have an action being taken to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. The four slides after that have the name of a group or agency that is in charge of responding to the pandemic.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Click on an action box on slide 6.
  2. Copy it.
  3. Paste it into the slide with the agency name that you think is responsible for that action.
  4. Do this for all action boxes.

NOTE: Sometimes an action is a shared responsibility by several agencies and levels. For these action boxes, you may paste the same action box into several agency slides. But be careful: most actions, belong to only one agency.

Complete the activity and go to the last slide to answer discussion questions.
