Security Manager

  • Review and develop the security operation
  • Prepare security procedures and documentation
  • Provide necessary security resources
  • Report all security related issues to Project Manager
  • Liaise with the company security manager and Local authority
  • Ensure that all site’s personnel are aware of security procedure

Security Supervisors

  • Responsible for day to day supervision of security guard
  • Ensure security equipment are in place and functional
  • Investigate all security related issues
  • Coordinate with the Company security supervisor
  • Report any breaches in security to the security manager
  • Prepare the report for any security related issues

Responsibilities

Security Guards

  • Check all concerning security passes in relation to both personnel and vehicle
  • Patrol & observe area of responsibility
  • Assist in control of traffic
  • Conduct searches of all vehicles entering & exiting the project
  • Check Material passes and waste manifest
  • Documents all security related issues
  • Prevent entry of unauthorized person in site and prohibited materials (guns, knife, drugs, liquor, etc…)

Perimeter fence is installed for;

  • Prevent entry & exit of personnel, materials, & equipment.
  • Protection from wild animals
  • Protection from outside forces
  • Prevention of pilferage

Gate Control

  • Controlling the entry of unauthorized personnel and prohibited materials.
  • Check the badge and authorization of all personnel
  • Control the exit of any materials by implementing the security pass
  • 24 hours duty manned by security guards

  • Random checking of vehicles and personnel
  • Frequently communicate with the main security control related to security activities
  • Constantly monitor the activities within the area

  • Regularly patrol the site
  • Random checking of vehicles and personnel
  • Frequently communicate with the main security control related to security activities
  • Immediately make corrective action for any security related incidents
  • Assist in the implementation of traffic management

I.D. System

  • All site personnel should show ID to Guard
  • Check for ID validity and authorized signature
  • Check for the identity of the person using the ID, if it is matches with the information in the badge.

Vehicle Entry in site;

  • Project sticker & vehicle pass
  • Driven by License & authorized driver
  • Follow Site rules & regulations
  • Not carrying dangerous goods (except w/ permit)

Random Alcohol Test

  • Security guard should conduct random alcohol testing to site personnel
  • Especially the day after holiday
  • Escort the employee out of the site if found positive from alcohol or drugs, if necessary report to Police.

  • Emergency contact number should be displayed at all times in the security outpost or guard house
  • Security guards should be familiar with the names and number of emergency contact persons
