Get into Edugence

• Log in to Classlink and click into Edugence.

Access TAMS

• Look at the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Near your name, you will see a hyperlinked letter-number access code.
1. Write your access code down to use later.
2. Then, click your hyperlinked access code!

Access TAMS

• You are now on the texasassessment.gov website.

Click the blue “Visit the Family Portal” button.

• Login by entering the hyperlinked number from Edugence and your birthdate.

Find Your Exam Info

• Look for your most recent STAAR test for the subject you’re attending tutorials for and follow the instructions on your Data Dig sheet.

Click the title of the test to access information about your Reporting Categories.

NOTE: T.E.A. has announced that they will update the Assessment Portal with the Fall 2021 Retest scores on Monday, January 24, 2022.

Accessing Reporting Category Info

• Scroll down from the top of the test info until you find the section labeled “Category Results”. This will tell you how many questions you answer correct.

How Many Questions to Pass?

• English I - 45/68 = 66%
• English II - 39/68 = 57%
• 8th Reading - 25/44 = 57%

• U.S. History - 29/68 = 43%
• 8th Social Studies - 22/44 = 50%

​

• Algebra I - 20/54 = 37%
• 8th Math -19/42 = 45%

​

• Biology - 20/50 = 40%
• 8th Science - 22/42 = 52%
