Artist statement:

​

I spend many days “down by the creek”; walking, sketching, and photographing. Starting out at a young age, in spite of my mother’s warnings, I would be found down at the creek skipping stones, wading in or catching bugs. I am simply drawn to the water`s edge. Here I have tried to convey my enthusiasm for and awe of this inspiring landscape.
