Sports News

It has been a very busy week or two for the athletic programs at the home of the Panthers.

All had some great success.

​

Bowling -- Alex Perez bowled a season high 269 just before the vacation break. Alex was one strike away from a perfect 300 game.

​

​

Wrestling was active in tournaments for the JV boys at the St Joseph's Tournament with one 2nd place finisher and three 3rd place finishers.

Girls Varsity wrestling team had a victory over Bayonne 35-18 with Leeah Gutierrez pinned her opponent in 23 seconds. The team also beat Raritan High School 36-30.

​

Girls Varsity basketball team had a win over Roselle Park HS 42-17. Isabella Pardo had 20 points

​

Boys Freshman basketball team had a victory over Woodbridge by 10.

​

Boys Varsity basketball had a victory over Raritan HS 57-34. Angel Rosario had 15 points and 10 rebounds

​

Congrats JV Boys Basketball

Boys JV basketball team had 2 wins in the annual Perth Amboy Holiday Tournament and won the JV bracket with a win over Edison in the finals. The celebration pictures below show the excitement of the program.

Credit Recovery

Students the new cycle of credit recovery has started. You should have received an invitation to a google classroom from your assigned teacher. Please check your Infinite Campus to see what class you are taking this cycle. Then take check google classroom to guarantee you have been invited to the classroom. Meet with your credit recovery teacher to discuss expectations for that course.

Seal of Biliteracy

Students if you haven’t completed the Seal of Biliteracy please make sure you speak to Ms. Almonte to confirm date and time to finish exam.
