Communication Lights and Dip-Switches
1 | Green and Red communication lights are not flashing on Ford Charge Station Pro |
2 | Ford Charge Station Pro does not recognize equipment for intelligent backup during commissioning |
Symptoms
1 | Dip-switches aren’t in the correct position (both switches need to be all the way to the right) |
2 | Broken communication wire(s) or colors aren’t landed in correct terminals in charger and/or BDI |
Potential Reason
1 | Check dip-switches are in the right position (lightly press both switches to the right to ensure correct position) |
2 | Check communication wires in both charger and BDI. Good idea to remove, re-stirp, and re-land wires in correct terminals (copper should be visible when landed) |
3 | Wait 10 minutes and verify communication lights start blinking |
