Strategies – creating a curriculum

Going right back to basics – explaining the origins of historical gender roles and the emergence of related gender stereotypes

Through a spiral curriculum, creating opportunities to revisit this several times a year:

Year 7 – fashion, clothes, toys

Year 8 – drugs (manufacturing/harvesting to distribution)

Year 9/10 – sexual assault and rape; pornography

Year 11 – One Punch Can Kill; addiction (mental health, eating disorders, gambling)
