Prelims

Prelims are ‘preliminary’ exams that most schools do to help pupils prepare and for teachers to gauge understanding by that stage. And more importantly, will help focus what is still needed.

Pupils will have prelim leave from Monday 13th January until Friday 24th January 2025.

Prelims

Pupils will have prelim leave from Monday 13th January until Friday 24th January 2025 – you cannot leave your studying until then – that will be too late!

Some prelims will begin in class times in the first week back after the holidays

Some pupils might have two prelims in one day.

Spaced Practice – what is this?

Effort – trying hard, being resilient, not giving up, learning from mistakes

Support – Class teachers, Guidance teachers, families, friends, online (Esgoil, SAMH and so much more!)

Attendance – responsibility to be here. If genuine absence, responsibility to get caught up and close any gaps
