SOME/ANY/NO

Займенники some/any/no означають деяку кількість і перекладаються як "декілька, трохи, якийсь".

ANY і його похідні (anybody, anyone, anything, anywhere) вживаються в заперечних та питальних реченнях.

SOME і його похідні (somebody, someone, something, somewhere) вживаються у стверджувальних реченнях.

NO і його похідні (nobody, no one, nothing, nowhere)

роблять речення заперечним.

Запам’ятайте!

1. В англійській мові в реченні може бути тільки одне заперечення, тобто або ви вживаєте дієслово в заперечній формі або похідні від NO:

Ex: I don’t see anybody. = I see nobody.

2.У реченнях, коли щось пропонується або є прохання, вживається слово some:

Ex: Would you like some orange juice? (пропозиція)

Ex: Can I have some sweets? (прохання)

Як висновок :

Займенник somebody вживається в стверджувальних та питальних реченнях (якщо прохання або пропозиція);

Займенник anybody – в питальних, заперечних реченнях, а також в стверджувальних реченнях в значенні «будь-хто» ,

Займенник nobody – лише в заперечних реченнях. Ці займенники стосуються третьої особи однини і в теперішньому простому часі вимагають вживання у дієсловах суфікса – s.
